We are a full-service veterinary hospital that offers specialty and routine pet care for dogs, cats, rabbits, ferrets, mice/rats, pigs, squirrels, guinea pigs, hamsters, & potbellied pigs. We provide a wide variety of diagnostic services, digital radiography, surgical procedures performed with laser, cold laser therapy, ultrasound, vaccinations, routine check ups, hospitalization and emergency care. We also provide boarding as well.

  • Dr.
    Giovanni Vergel
    Owner/Veterinarian

    Dr. Vergel graduated with his doctorates degree in Veterinary Medicine on August 29, 2001 from the University of Ciencias Aplicadas & Ambientales in Bogota, Colombia. Just six months after retaining his doctorates, he moved to the US. While waiting to take the National Boards to become US certified and practice as a veterinarian, Dr. Vergel worked in several clinics in the Central Florida area. He also volunteered at Affiliated Veterinary Specialists for a little over a year. After completing the boards and CPE, he worked as an associate veterinarian for 6 years at an animal hospital in Seminole County. 'My passion is my responsibility of your pet's health. Once I have your pet in my care, it is my sole duty to keep him/her healthy, safe, and happy. You can always expect for me to inform you of all issues that arise, work together to create a plan and execute treatment that will keep your pet comfortable.'

  • Tanya Reep
    Practice Manager

    Tanya has been in the veterinary field for 18 years and has worked all positions. She has gain herknowledge through mentors, co-workers, and hands on experience. She worked in a Cat only practice for 12 years where she retained great skills and knowledge. After obtaining a bachelor's degree in Small Business Management she took a new position in the industry. Even though she is titled as an office administer, you will find her still working with the animals and clients. 'While I was in school, I would imagine myself working in some other type of industry and remembering saying to myself that there is no way I would be happy without  working with animals.'  She believes the animal's care always comes first while attending the owners making them comfortable and trustworthy of our work.  ' I promise to live by our mission statement by helping keep your pet healthy and happy to their senior years.'

  • Julissa

    Julissa has been working in the field for 4 months. She graduated Animal Behavior College to become a veterinary assistant. 

    ' I have a cat named Nala. She is 5 years old and give me company when I get home at the end of the day.'

    'I truly enjoy helping others may it be our patients, owners, or staff member. I hope to provide a great visit and be helpful to anyone who needs it.'

  • Amber Crawford

    Amber is our technician who loves finding out what is wrong with your pet. She has been in the field since 2008. She started as a kennel technician and became a veterinary technician in 2011. She has attended Florida Atlantic University for 2 years and is currently attending Valencia, majoring in  Biology.  Along with schooling she has learned her skills and knowledge from hands on experiences. Luna is her beloved 3 year old Pitbull and she also owns Mylie her 8 month old kitten AKA kitty kitty. ' What I enjoy most about working in the field is learning new things everyday regarding animal health. My passion is in pathology and being able to help/treat sick pets and nurse them back to health. '

  • Valeria Hernandez

    When Valeria was 17 she decided she wanted to closely with animals. Fast forward one year she got her veterinary assistant certification. She started working with us as a Kennel Technician in September 2016 and is currently a full time Veterinary Assistant working hard to become a Veterinary Technician in the future. Valeria is currently attending Valencia College majoring in Biology and soon to after Veterinary Medicine. 'I have two beautiful dogs and two fluffy kittens. Canela is a 6yr old female Chichuahua mix and Cookie is a 3yr old female Catahoula Cur. Mango is a 9 month old male grey tabby and Lemon is a 4 month old male orange tabby. ' Seeing the unique bond between an animal and a human being is what I like best about this about what I do. I love my job because I get the opportunity to care and help animals back to their healthy self as they were before. My favorite part of all is also getting to welcome a new life into this world.  I will provide every animal that comes through the doors of Crystal Creek Animal Hospital the upmost attention and care he/she deserves no matter how big or small the situation.' 

  • Jonathan

    Jonathan graduated form Pima Medical Institue in 2005 in Colorado. He worked 2.5yrs with the Humane 
    Society and the Dumb Friends League. For the past 8 years he has worked in emergency/critical care and surgery for specialty practices until starting with us. 'I love Pitbulls and would love to start my own rescue for them at some point in time.' Jonathan's favorite aspect of the vet field is being able to work with and help critically ill animals through their recovery process and see them return home. 'My focus in this field is on efficiency and strong teamwork-those take you very far.' 

  • Kim Gonzalez

     'I have been with CCAH since June 2017 and it has been one of he best journeys I've been on. Since I was 5 yrs old, I've always loved animals and knew I would have a future taking care of animals. One day I would love to open up my own boarding facility and pet grooming. I had started as a kennel tech and now have made my way to tech assistant.' Kim has George, an 8yr old pug who loves to follow her everywhere. 'He honestly is my best friend!' 'My favorite part about this job is all the new things I learn everyday. I love being close to all these animals and having some type of impact on helping these animals. Taking care of animals has been my biggest passion and I can't wait to see what the future holds.'
